Our Focus

What We Publish

We publish children's picture books, board books, activity books, and related learning tools for children ages 0–8. Our focus is on social-emotional learning, emotional development, and character-building themes that support the whole child. Every title we publish is designed to combine strong commercial appeal with genuine developmental value—books that families want to buy and children want to read again and again.

We look for projects that bring together:

  • Strong commercial appeal
  • Emotional resonance
  • Clear child-development value
  • Memorable, read-aloud-friendly storytelling
  • Giftable, series-friendly, or evergreen potential

Submissions

What We're Looking For

We are most interested in children's books and related concepts that fit naturally within the World of Kids Books list. Areas of interest may include:

  • Social-emotional learning
  • Feelings and emotional regulation
  • Confidence and self-expression
  • Kindness, empathy, and friendship
  • Everyday life skills and routines
  • Early childhood development
  • Family connection and caregiver support
  • Child-friendly mental wellness topics
  • Highly commercial character-led series with meaningful developmental value

Its Not You It's Us

What's Not a Fit

To help keep our submissions process focused, please note that we are generally not the right home for:

  • Adult books
  • Middle grade or YA
  • Memoirs or personal essays
  • Books outside the children's and family space
  • Highly academic, clinical, or textbook-style materials
  • Overtly preachy or heavily didactic manuscripts
  • Projects that do not align with our publishing focus

Submission Guidelines

Please send submissions to publisher@worldofkidsbooks.com with the subject line: Submission – [Project Title]

Your submission should include:

  • A brief introduction
  • A short author bio
  • Your manuscript or proposal
  • Age range and intended audience
  • A short summary of why the project fits World of Kids Books
  • Any relevant platform, audience, or professional background
  • Whether the project is a standalone title or part of a series

We review submissions on a rolling basis
