Books and Resources for Classrooms, Counseling Offices, and Storytime

World of Kids Books creates engaging children’s books and companion educator resources that help young readers build emotional awareness, confidence, kindness, safety, and connection — at school and beyond. Our books are designed to support the whole child through relatable storytelling, meaningful social-emotional themes, and practical tools educators can use in real learning environments.

For teachers, school counselors, librarians, therapists, and homeschool families.

Why Our Books

Built to Support Real Educational Settings

World of Kids Books titles are created to be both meaningful for children and useful for the adults supporting them. For many of our books, we collaborate with subject matter experts — including educators, counselors, therapists, physicians, and child development professionals — to help ensure each topic is handled with care, accuracy, and age-appropriate language. To support classroom, counseling, library, and home use, we also create companion resources such as read-alouds, book PDFs, classroom posters, educator lesson plans, discussion prompts, student work pages, and take-home activities. Our series have been thoughtfully reviewed and aligned across nationally recognized educational and social-emotional learning frameworks — including CASEL, American School Counselor Association, and the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework — as well as many state-specific early learning, health, safety, and SEL standards. These alignments help educators see how our books can support academic, social, and emotional growth in developmentally appropriate ways.
