Who We Are

Meet World of Kids Books

World of Kids Books is an independent children’s publisher creating books and learning tools that help kids build emotional awareness, confidence, kindness, and connection.

We publish stories for families, educators, librarians, and retailers who want books children love and adults feel good about sharing—at bedtime, in classrooms, on library shelves, and everywhere meaningful storytime happens.

Proudly woman-owned and independent

Mission

What We Publish

We publish children’s books and companion resources designed to support social-emotional growth in warm, engaging, and age-appropriate ways. Our list includes picture books, box sets, and series that help children explore feelings, build confidence, practice kindness, and navigate everyday life with greater understanding.

At World of Kids Books, we believe the best children’s books do more than entertain. They open conversations, create connection, and become part of the routines families and educators return to again and again.

Why It Matters

Why It Matters

Some of the most meaningful learning happens in everyday moments—before bed, during storytime, in the classroom, or in the middle of a hard day. We create books that help children feel seen, supported, and understood, while giving the adults around them stories they can trust and language they can use.

As both publishers and parents (Hillary and Scott have four of their own), we understand how powerful the right book can be: a comfort, a conversation starter, a teaching tool, or a story a child asks for again and again.
