Hillary Keller
Publisher
Hillary is the publisher behind World of Kids Books, bringing extensive experience in marketing and business development from her leadership roles at various early-stage startup and technology companies. With a background in brand building and content strategy, she combines her expertise with a passion for empowering children through storytelling. Her hands-on approach ensures that each book entertains while enriching social-emotional learning, helping children navigate their emotions and fostering a love of learning.
Scott Keller
President
Scott leads the daily operations of World of Kids Books and helps shape the company’s strategic direction. With a background in partnerships, events, and brand-building for companies including Uber, Volvo, and BMW, Scott brings both big-picture thinking and hands-on leadership to the team.
He is especially passionate about expanding the reach of meaningful children’s books and resources that help kids better understand their emotions, build confidence, and navigate everyday challenges.
Sarah Campbell
Education Partnerships & Strategy
Sarah is an award-winning educational leader, former teacher and principal, and curriculum design expert who has held senior roles across the KIPP network, KIPP DC, and Meeting Street Schools. At World of Kids Books, she leads the creation of educator resources and directs school and district partnerships, helping expand the reach of meaningful books and social-emotional learning materials that support students, teachers, counselors, and school communities.
Katie Hayes
Education & Community Engagement
Drawing on deep experience in publishing, nonprofit leadership, and mission-driven marketing, Katie has built and led organizations focused on community impact and engagement. She began her career at National Geographic Kids magazine and later founded Community Farmers Markets in Atlanta, growing the organization from one small market into a network serving more than 230,000 residents each year. At World of Kids Books, Katie supports education partnerships and outreach efforts, helping expand the reach of the company’s books and resources in schools, classrooms, and learning communities.
Taylor Cardwell
Education & Resource Development
With a background in elementary education, literacy instruction, and MTSS leadership, Taylor brings years of classroom and coaching experience to the World of Kids Books team. She has supported teachers and student achievement across multiple grade levels through instructional leadership roles at BetterLesson and Meeting Street Schools. At World of Kids Books, Taylor helps create educator resources and learning materials designed to support engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction in classrooms and school communities.
Alexandra Blessing
Advisor, LPCA, MA
Alexandra is a licensed professional counselor-associate, located in the South Carolina Lowcountry. Specializing in early childhood counseling and play therapy, she finds so much fulfillment in providing a safe and nurturing environment to aid children in growth and healing.
Charlotte Fraser
Advisor, Education, MEd
Charlotte is an educator, artist, and former elementary teacher with classroom experience in Arkansas, Washington, D.C., and Charleston, including service through Teach For America. Over seven years in elementary education, she developed curriculum and created thoughtful, engaging learning experiences for her students. She holds a master’s degree in Education Policy and Management from Harvard and brings a strong background in teaching and child development to her work with World of Kids Books.
Krista Harper
Advisor, LMFT, MA
Krista is a dedicated marriage and family therapist specializing in supporting families and children through emotional and relational challenges. A mother of three young kids, Krista combines her professional expertise with personal experience to provide compassionate guidance to parents and children and is passionate about helping families connect and thrive.
Kathryn Close McSherry
Advisor, Education, MA
Katy brings a wealth of experience in education and sales, with key roles at Brightwheel, Wonderschool, and IXL Learning. A former first-grade teacher through Teach For America, she holds a Master’s in Education and is deeply committed to advancing initiatives that make a meaningful difference for children and families.
